Chad Wilburn opened Bodies By Chad in 2000 - after several years of learning, honing and perfecting his craft through the wisdom and advice of mentors; countless late nights and tedious bouts of trial and error; and a determination that drove his passion to become the best.

Chad became interested in restoring and customizing cars early and helped out in a friend's garage. By the age of fifteen, he was working as the shop gopher in a local bodyshop. "I did whatever the guys told me to. I cleaned the bathroom, swept the shop, scuffed countless panels. They even had me clean out the ash pit under the coal furnace."

"Opening my own place was a dream come true. I couldn't have done it without help from my friends. I just want to be better everyday of my life."
